Crepuscular rays are shafts of light which which appear to originate in one specific point in the sky, typically the sun. In reality, these shafts of sunlight are actually parallel to each other, but perspective gives the illusion that they are are coming from a single point.
The word “crepuscular” itself means “pertaining to twilight”.
